My first real effort to apply some life drawing skills to an intentional metaphorical image. I never continued this work believing I needed to have actual models take and hold these poses to allow me to get the forms and figures more realistic.
Wooden Battle

At an Arts Project Leadership Conference we all worked on a project that bridged 3D and 2D visual perception as well as creative expression using specific elements.
These actually were wooden mannequins posed on the table based on a living, interactive pose performed by us, the visual artists that all did the drawing as a still-life. I grew fond of this work and will follow it back to working from the real live model again.
