15.-Mt.-San-Bernardino-2009

I consider this one of my "signature" photos of a view from West Sunset Drive in Redlands California. You are looking over the Hillside Cemetery and might appreciate that this is one of the World's most magnificent displays of Italian Cypress Trees (according to Tom Atchley, local historian). When I was the Redlands High School Yearbook Adviser for many years, I assigned my photographers to capture an image that is described by the high school alma mater, "Where the purple snow-capped mountains reach the clear blue sky ...". I was rewarded one day while taking my walk and was given this view to capture and translate with my camera. Photoshop only enhanced the image within "darkroom" limitations. The image speaks for itself.
